Silk Screen vs Hot Stamping vs Labeling: Decorating Your Bottle

Decoration is where a $0.30 bottle becomes a $0.45 bottle — or a $2 premium product. Here is how the three mainstream methods compare.

Silk Screen Printing

Ink is pushed through a mesh onto the bottle. Durable, tactile, great for logos and small text. Setup is low; ideal for 1–3 colors.

Metallic foil is pressed with heat. The premium "gold/silver" look for luxury lines. Best on flat, rigid surfaces (PET shines here).

Pressure-sensitive or shrink sleeve. Lowest per-unit cost, most flexible for multi-language or regulatory text, but less "premium" feel.
